What a fab start to this trilogy! Kayli is a really enjoyable character who will get better and better I personally think as we get to know her more throughout these books. 

Already in my list of top female characters. She's real, tough, gentle and a full person. 

Though expected from M.A.Comley, no half measures with this author.

The subject is a tough 1 for some involving abuse and children, it's written sensitively and with a mind of what it is about, really well tackled.
A book that will keep you hooked and guessing throughout.....
